  • This is a decentralized exchange cryptocurrency platform (DEX) focused on prior markets for digital money assets.
  • The core request was focused on the growth of both traffic and conversion.
  • The crypto “rally” became a signal of changing the strategy for different channels responsible for acquiring new customers, and the SEO-determined traffic was one of the top channels of interest for the DEX management.

The main challenge this DEX platform had at that moment was to make an organic traffic channel a main revenue-generating one. This meant the company had to launch a set of steps to improve its organic traffic and generate enough opportunities to convert such traffic into revenue. Before talking to the NaturalLinks team, they struggled to convert organic traffic compared to the similar platforms of their competitors.

Strategy and Implementation

Initial Analysis

The initial stage involved a comprehensive audit of the content and SEO health of the DEX blockchain platform. The audit revealed several key areas requiring intervention:

Content Gaps and Opportunities: We identified underrepresented topics and high-potential keywords that align closely with user search intent.

SEO Technicalities: Analysis of the existing Landing Pages revealed issues such as poor meta tag optimization, inefficient use of keywords, and inadequate localization for target markets.
To address these, we structured our strategy around two main tiers:

1. Primary Focus of Tasks: Enhanced content creation, SEO optimizations on landing pages, and extensive localization.

2. Secondary Focus of Tasks: Development of a separate pipeline for sustained engagement, implementing crowd-marketing tactics, and managing the search engine reputation (SERM) for the platform of the Client.

After the initial stage and analysis, we switched to the Implementation phase. It included several steps to be concluded:

Meta Tags and Content Optimization: We adjusted meta titles and descriptions, incorporating targeted keywords to boost relevance and search rankings.
Page Speed Enhancements: Optimization efforts were intensified to improve load times, crucial for retaining user interest and enhancing user experience.
Localization: The website was localized into 10 additional languages, broadening the platform’s reach and accessibility to key international markets.
After that, we switched to the Post-initial optimizations:

Diversified Web Pages: Created specific pages for main exchange pairs, coins, and pricing, which helped us identify high-performing pages and optimize them for better conversions.
Established a set of repeated SEO Activities: A sustainable pipeline for outreach, crowd marketing, guest posting, and SERM was set up to maintain and build upon initial gains.
